Critical Analysis of Cultural Values and Traditions Represented in North Star English Course Book

This study reports the findings of a mixed method critical non-native university English language teachers’ perceptions about cultural values and traditions represented in North Star course book (advanced level), published by Pearson. The sample consisted 35 male teachers who had experienced teaching under investigation used at an institute one Saudi Arabian university. In this study, combined dataset questionnaire was to collect data. Findings revealed that participants negative perception towards models book. More specifically, they were not adequately designed suit background, local norms traditions. Moreover, indicated failed embody international cultures speakers. recommends adopting new policies which consider incorporating both as well speakers English.
